13/09/06 Junior international presents shirt

BEACONSFIELDS JUNIOR INTERNATIONAL PRESENTS HIS ENGLAND SHIRT TO CLUB CHAIRMAN

The presentation of an England 16 group international shirt to the club chairman of Beaconsfield RFC took place on Sunday morning in front of a crowd of aspiring youngsters.

Peter Elder a pupil of the Royal Grammar School and a member of Beaconsfield RFC generously gave his first England Shirt to George Parker, Chairman of the club. Peter who has just returned from a successful international tour of Argentina won his first full cap against Wales earlier in the year. He has also played 4 England A games against France, Wales, Scotland and Canada - not bad for a 16 year old who with determination has risen from the B team at Club and School level to win his first cap for his country! Peter is currently a member of the Wasps Academy and plays for the first XV at the Royal Grammar School. His two coaches at Beaconsfield RFC - Steve Fryer and Peter Manning were delighted at Peter's international success and spoke of his determination to reach the highest levels in the sport.

09/09/05 As the new look web site is launched (which we hope you like) we need the help of as many club members as possible to make it an interesting and inviting site to visit. What this means is always having new things to read and look at. We are desperate for people at all levels and sections to send us news items, events, links to other sites, match reports, match photos, basically anything you feel might be of interest to other visitors to the site.

One new feature introduced for all you budding rugby pundits out there is our 'On the touchline" page. This page is intended for anyone who has an opinion to express about a rugby related matter to have a soapbox to stand on and express their view.

PLEASE NOTE. This is NOT a bulletin board or chatroom. You will need to submit articles by email. These will be vetted by an appropriate committee member and may be edited and we cannot promise that every article submitted will be published but we will do our best.
