NEWS: BRFC Under 10s win A&C Tournament - Oct 12th

We currently have 46 registered players and regularly see over 30 boys and girls attend on a Sunday morning between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 p.m. We have already signed up 11 new players this season. Led by Rob Minns we have 9 regular coaches. Several have played rugby at a competitive level including an England Under 21 cap! We are also committed to putting the coaches through the official RFU coach courses.

Teams are made up of 9 players with three forwards and six backs plus 3 substitutes. Scrums and line outs are contested for the first time this season. We strongly recommend that each player has a gum shield. If in doubt as to where to get one please contact us.

Over the past 4 seasons we have been very successful in terms of tournament success and matches against other clubs. We are entered in 5 tournaments throughout the season. We endeavour to make sure that all players gain experience at these tournaments. We also play 10 matches against other local clubs. All players who are available will get a game at these matches. Currently we have representation from 15 local schools so you are likely to see a familiar face if it is your first time at the club.

Come down and give us a go. We play across the road from the club house. As you come onto the pitches we are on the far left hand side beyond the rugby posts. You are not committed to pay anything or require the club kit to start with. If after two or three sessions you feel it is for you we will then formally register you as a member of Beaconsfield RFC.
